Yay! Now newcomers won't get lost in the sea of unorganized tutorials! :D
ReplyDeleteAlso - I just had an idea for a tutorial. Remember Stage Studio? Well there was talk about implementing a block stretcher, but Xane hasn't updated in forever. It's possible and it has been done with hexing. I know everyone hates hex but... well, hex is as hands-on as you get! No offense, but I think it would be a little more new and exciting than editing images on the CSS screen... soo, next poll? :)
Hahaha Stewart, you are so forward sometimes.
ReplyDeleteBut I seriously hope you realise that you can just STRETCH the animation data of a still block to make it longer/bigger/wider.
With Brawlbox we really do not need to hex these types of things! Be creative and use the tools you know best to manipulate what you want.
:)
Wacka is the king of PSA and Brawlbox tutorials! I guess i should start promoting, i want your videos to have waaaaaaaay more views!
ReplyDeleteI've seriously got to be more self-explanitory. I mean, stretch the individual blocks in an ordinary stage made in the stage builder. The stages will work on unhacked wiis too! (but what happens when you view them in the editor, god knows)

Here's an example of what I'm talking about.

He's got a list of all the hex values in a stage builder stage, but all we're interested in is the "size" values.
I don't know Stewart.. This seems a bit pointless to me.
ReplyDeleteYou can do all of that in brawlbox SUPER easy.
I'm definately not sold on the idea as of now.
They're your tutorials, do as you please. And yes, I must admit, any hacker can make a stage with brawlbox better than any stage builder stage could ever be.
