Altering .rel Files Information

OK, judging by how many votes this has, people obviously do not know what it is.
Becuase it is AWESOME.
Everyone keeps asking me questions about custom stages like the following:

"Does this have to go over FD?"
"Can this go over 75M?"
"Does this work on top of Flatzone 2?"

This tutorial, covers hexing the files so they ALL WORK!
Which means, that we can finally get rid of those crappy gimmick stages, permanently!
And since I have already covered hexing, we would have an easy time doing it!

Imagine this, with the following tutorials, you can actually make a 100% fully original stage list.
- Creating Stages From Elements Of Other Stages (Or Creation Of 2D Stages)
- Altering .rel Files
- Changing Stage Selection Portraits

BAM! FULLY CUSTOMIZED BRAWL STAGES. 100% original.

Question of the day:
"How awesome is this!?"

P.S. Please check out a new feature of this blog, The "Ask A Question, Get An Answer!" section! Please feel free to ask any brawl related questions, and also, ANSWER other's questions if you can! I hope this will build our little community even more. Try it out!

  1. Is there a list of what all the hex offsets are, and what values are valid? Kinda like the Super Mario World Rom Map?

  4. Oh my, shame on me.
    It is... very awesome. :)

What I meant was, a sort of a chart thingy, telling us what all the hex offsets do. Sorta like this:
    http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=map&type=rom
But I wouldn't expect it to be so detailed, just having the more important ones, like... at such and such an offset, setting it to "1" indicates a flat stage, and "0" a normal stage.
