Changing CSS Names Info

This tutorial would cover changing the name that appears when you select a character on the CSS (Character Select Screen).
When you select "Mario", beside your player slot, it says "Mario" and a picture of your current costume.
What we would do, is change that to say something different, such as "Inferno Mario" or "Shadow" or any other word we want.

I hope this gets some more votes, because the race is REALLY close between the two big contenders.

Also, if you have a set of websites you visit daily, please add this to them so you can see the biggest updates in the brawl world (Atleast mine...).

Thanks! And remember, if you cannot stand my crappy microphone, donate some spare money to get me a better one! This benefits everyone, and I am sure you will love it aswell!

  1. So is it possible to have different Names on diferent Costumes, or do you use the same name for every costume?

  2. @marvin

I'm pretty sure it's only for one character. Because there's only one file for a name change.

  3. Yup, Samjoko is correct.
    One name per character.

That would be WAY too awesome to have multiple names.
Too awesome for us to handle.

(Could you imagine only one character slot? but like 50 textures, each one a different fully playable character)

  4. Aren't they trying to develop that though? I think it was called the "Clone engine" but I think it was along the same lines. That would be true groundbreaking Brawl hacking.

  5. I heard they found a way to ADD new stages instead of just replacing them, but i don´t know if it´s true. Would be cool, though.

  6. It's true. I used to have it, But then everyone started making .rels, so I got rid of it since I'm going to replace all the original stages first.

  7. Technically it is still replacing stages...
But you are replacing the CUSTOM stages...

So... some say potato, some say brambor.
