Brawl Modding Tutorial - Animated Stage Collisions Is Now Live!

The animated stage collision tutorial is finished and uploaded now!
With this tutorial you can learn how to animate the models in your new 3-D stages, and then make the collisions follow them so you can have:
- Moving platforms
- Windmills
- Flying stages (With a cool custom background of course!)
- Endless other ideas!

Please check the video out by following the link below (Hyperlinked in the text), or enjoy a new feature I will be using from now on when introducing tutorials/demos, embedding!
Now you can enjoy watching my new tutorials from the comfort of my blog!
I thank everyone for watching, and another special thanks to Mewtwo2000 for helping me once again!
Thank you!

P.S. The guy infront of those two menacing pumas is me, I made the background on photoshop from an image of a landscape, a puma, another puma, and a graduation picture of mine. "Isn't she beautiful?"※

Satisfaction※

Alright, once I get access to my wii, I will be able to make the tutorial, and the demo! Unfortunately, my computer is right beside my tv, and unless you all want Indy 500 noise going on in the background, you will have to wait until later today.
It is remarkably easy, my friend Mewtwo2000 figured out a way to do it without hexing, and I can honestly say, this will be a really fun tut to watch.

Enjoy the wait, so you can get your Satisfaction※

No Sugar Tonight ※

Sorry everyone, I am just as confused as all of you when it comes to hexing, and this tutorial that you voted for, requires hexing.
Ha, and I thought I was going overboard with those "Intro to Hex" tutorials, I guess they were pretty useful anyway!

I am asking my friend in hacking Mewtwo2000 for help again, as he is a huge time hacker, and you may all know him from his amazing work on pushing the limits of stage hacking.

So, No Sugar Tonight※ for all you you, chill out and drink some Hot Tea※.
To give you something to do here though, I am making the new poll, so go ahead and vote vote vote!

And after I get a decent way into them, I should have the new tut up for thursday night!
(May come out earlier depending on life and stuff)

I hope you all didn't miss me too much.

And if you feel obliged to help me, you all know how!
:)

Thanks to everyone who watches, and learns with me week by week.

Custom Strap Loader Info

Alright, so we got one new entry into this week's poll, Custom Strap Loader.
Now, this is probably one of my absolute FAVORITE mods.
As soon as you boot up brawl, you see the nintendo issued wrist strap warning loader.

But the cool thing about modding this is, that we can make it super customized!
Make it say your name, or showcase some funny pictures, anything!

Mine personally has a warning message which reads:
"Ownage By Wacka Alpaca Not Rated By The ESRB, Prepare Yourself."

Makes me laugh everytime.
Vote for this if you want some cool menu hacks, this really makes your brawl feel original.

Question of the Day:
"If I wasn't making these tutorials, would you be making mods, or would you be completely lost?"

Huge Contest!

Hey everyone, I apologise for not posting recently, but I have been backed up with studying for physics and working, and practicing with my rugby team, etc, etc.
Oh, just FYI, I went to Playland yesterday with said physics class, and it was awesome.
If you don't know what Playland is, it is basically a really small Six Flags, but in Vancouver.

I guess I should put something in here related to brawl so...
At this juncture, I would like to annouce the contest I have been planning!
It will showcase any brawl mod you have worked on, or a compilation of all your mods if they relate to one aspect (EX:// all your menu hacks, or all your mario hacks), rules are below, as well as the prize!

Contest:

Rules:
- Create, and showcase a mod made by you (NO plagarism!).
- The creation can have anything to do with brawl, and can be multiple small things relating to the same aspect of brawl, for example, you could showcase all of your custom Samus textures, or all of your custom songs with custom titles.
- Deadline for entries will be one month from now (June 12th 11:59pm)
- One submission per person
- Winners will be announced after the deadline, and will be posted here, as well as a special youtube video congratulating them.

Pointers:
- I want to see work from everyone! You can't win if you don't try!
- I will review the applications AS they come in, so don't hold your project for the end, when you finish 100%, submit!

Prizes:
- For this contest, I will offer three prizes, one for 1st, one for 2nd, and one for 3rd.
- First prize will include:
- A talking spot on my tutorials, which will be viewed by thousands!
- A special promotional video for your mod, so that everyone can try it out, and see what it does!
- The next contest (Whenever I plan to have another) will be held in your honour, and use your name!
- Of course, the gloating power that you are the best of the best!
- Third and Second place will include:
- Inclusion into a compilation video, where I will showcase your design, and talk about it, and you.
- A name shoutout on one of my tutorials, this will help your name get out there so people can see your mods!

Format:
- Please send in your applications through my youtube account (Sending PM's), as this will allow me to organise them better.
- Please use the format below:

Subject: Wacka Alpaca Contest
Message: Here is my application, you can download it here (OR view a video of it). Then please explain what you made, and what were the tough areas, what went right, what didn't, etc.

I look forward to seeing everyones entry, and encourage everyone to partake! Thank you all for the support!

Mini Project 03:

Name: Mother's Day Brawl!
Required Tutorials: Creation Of 2d Stages, Editing .rel Files, Brawlwall

Follow along and make this fun heart shaped stage for mom to play on, I know she plays!
XD

1) - Download the 2D stage template
2) - Export the stage texture
3) - Open it with a suitable photo editing software
4) - Draw a big old heart for you mama!
5) - Save, and replace it back into the template
6) - Export the background texture
7) - Open in an editor, and write on a nice solid colour background "Happy Mothers' Day!"
8) - Save, and replace back into the template
9) - Save the .pac file
10) - Use "Brawl Wall" tutorial to edit the spawn points of the stage so you do not fall through on the first spawn
11) - Edit the .rel of 75M or other pointless stage so it works with FD based stages (Editing .rel Tutorial)
12) - Rename the custom stage to the name of the stage you want to replace, and copy it onto your SD
13) - Invite mom into the room, and give her a Mothers' Day meteor smash into the floor!
14) - Gloat, trash talk, and otherwise humiliate her on this special day, because it's fun!

*Please note, that if you get owned up by your mom you should stop modding all together, and hide in a closet*

I hope you enjoyed reading this silly mini-project as much as I did writing it!
Happy Mothers' Day to everyone out there!

Final Demo Is Finished!

Rejoice! The amazing platformed Final Destination Stage demo is finally finished!
You can all now look at how it works in game, and hopefully gain the courage to make your own amazing stages.
Have a tonne of fun playing around with stages, I do, and it keeps me motivated to keep on helping you all!

Brawlbox Demonstration - Creating Stages From Elements Of Other Stages

Question of the day:

"What kind of stages are you planning to make with all my stage modding tutorials, if any?"

I for one am planning on making some classic Hyrule Temple from N64!
Enjoy! And have fun with brawl modding!

New Poll Is Up!

Alright, new poll!
I apologise for being so busy, but I can't really control it.
I would be able to schedule some things around if I could justify this over working, as in, if I recieved donations or more people help me out (Like you know how).

I really appreciate you guys's support, and hope to have the third demo up soon, but for now, be happy with the new poll, and other 2 demos.

Enjoy!

Demonstration Completion Info

I am again, very busy right now, and hope to get some free time tomorrow (Tuesday) to finish the demos.
One of the problems is that becuase of the number of demos I have to shoot, it will take a long time for me to get through them, and it is hard for me to devote that much time to it right now.

In brighter news, the Friday mass mail went EXTREMELY well, and I appreciate everyone who helped, and encourage you to ask me any questions you havwe about brawl modding. And if when you are reading this, decide to help me again, I would be ecstatic.

Thank you all so much!
